The internet and social media have been critical for students to stay in touch with their friends and stay abreast of their studies, but this increased screen time also raises concerns over what content children are accessing. Parents and carers should be able to foster open conversations regarding online safely, and children should always feel able to talk freely about worrying content that they might have experienced online.
We have listed a number of resources below that parents and carers might find useful in supporting their children, as well as links providing assistance in creating a child-safe digital environment. Other useful resources can be found on our student support page.
