GCSE RESULTS 2019

Headteacher Peter Hoare said “I am delighted for the students and they should be justifiably proud of their success. As a year group they worked extremely hard and involved themselves in all aspects of school life. I would also like to thank all teaching and non-teaching staff for their expertise in supporting these young people. Parents, Governors and the community have a vital part in supporting our young people and this can never be underestimated.

Lastly I would like to thank Louise Husband, Head of Year in leading her dedicated and hardworking team so well in supporting the year group through the last 5 years.

“Heathfield School are celebrating another year of excellent results. Out of a year group of 221, 81% achieved a standard 4 and above pass in English and 65% achieved a strong 5 and above pass. In Maths 78% achieved a standard 4 pass and 59% achieved a strong 5 pass or above. Students achieving a standard 4 pass in both English and Maths was 71% and students achieving a strong 5 pass in both English and Maths was 52%. Students achieving at least 5 standard passes including English and Maths was 61% and students achieving at least 5 passes was 95%.
